Flashmix
Overview
The Flashmix uses a unique principle for powder induction.
While many other powder/liquid mixing systems rely on vacuum created by a pump to draw in powders,
the Flashmix forces powder into the liquid stream.
This allows for the preparation of relatively higher concentration dispersions compared to conventional systems,
enables handling of more viscous solutions, and can also be applied to higher temperature liquids.

Materials
All wetted parts are made from 316L stainless steel.
The frame supporting the mixer is made from 304 stainless steel.
Motor
The standard motor is TEFC (Totally Enclosed Fan-Cooled).
Options include explosion-proof, waterproof, and stainless steel motors.
Piping Connections
Standard specification is sanitary ferrule connections.
Other types can be accommodated upon request.
Seal
Standard is a sanitary single mechanical seal.
Double mechanical seals are also available.
Valve
Manual butterfly valve.
Cleaning
Compatible with CIP cleaning.
Hopper
Various hopper sizes are available depending on the amount of powder.
Sloped hoppers are also available depending on powder characteristics.
Powder Table
For FMX25 and FMX50, a powder feed table is available as an option.
Automation
For semi-automated systems, optional powder sensors can be installed in the hopper
and powder feed valves can be upgraded to air-actuated automatic valves.
